Where are you located?
Fantastic question! We are now a mobile business, meaning, we can do music class anywhere! We are currently online, in student's homes, and various businesses throughout the north side of Chicago. Check out our Contact & Locations page to find out more!

What is your service area?

How does registration work?

For IRL classes, you may register for the full session or drop-ins. Full sessions vary in length, but always include digital music downloads of the current collection and discounts. For virtual classes, you may sign up for drop-ins or sign up for the unlimited membership, or class packs. Memberships and class packs include digital music downloads and discounts. Private classes are booked in 6-week sessions and include digital music downloads. Pre-registration is always required.

What is your Makeup Policy?
Any class or event ticket may be rescheduled or credited for any reason with 24 hours notice. Simply contact customer service and provide your email address on file, your child's name, and the class date and time you will be missing.

What do I do if the time and day I registered for no longer works for my schedule?
You can always transfer to another class within the same session, as long as there is space available. Just contact customer service!

My child is not walking yet, and I would love to be in a class with other babies.
We are committed to finding a class that is the best fit for you and your child! All of our Music Pups classes are mixed age classes for ages 0-5. Research shows that there are several developmental benefits to mixed age classes! That being said, we do appreciate the desire to be in a class of peers. Feel free to contact the office and we can tell you which classes have other kids your child's age. We will find a class that is a good fit! In the meantime, check out our Infant Sensory Music Class at Metta Baby in Bucktown!

Do you have discounts for siblings?
Yes! Sibling discounts are available for all in-person public group classes.

My older child has a day off of school. Can he/she come to class with my younger child?
Absolutely! Your older child is welcome to attend as a drop-in as long as there is space available. Pre-registration is required.

I would like to try a class before I register.
We do offer Free Trial Classes for first time families! Free Trial Classes are available in select classes. Take a look at our current Class Schedule and pick the date and time that works best for you, and select "Free Trial" when you register. Otherwise, drop-ins are available in all of our classes Pre-registration is required.

What is your Refund Policy?
Sales are final. You may request a Special Circumstances Request Form for special circumstances. All approved refunds are subject to a 20% fee. Any classes or events may be rescheduled with 24 hours notice.

How do I cancel my Unlimited Virtual Music Class Membership?

What Parents Are Saying

"My baby loves The Music Playhouse! The teachers are so kind and engaging! Every class is different, and every session has different music, unlike other early childhood music classes we have looked at. We love singing the music at home, and listening to the CD in the car. The music is complex enough to be interesting for adults as well as children, and exposes young children to music styles often neglected in our culture. I write this review as a mom and a professional musician--I'm impressed and will keep coming back to The Music Playhouse for more sessions!" -Jennifer M.
